Slow Cooked Porridge

Slow Cooked Porridge

Porridge is definitely one of our favourite breakfasts, we love it and if you leave it overnight to cook in the slow cooker, not only is it super convenient for you in the morning but it also becomes incredibly creamy. It tastes great and is perfect for when you want an easy breakfast. If you don’t have a slow cooker, you can try soaking the oats in almond milk over night, then cooking in a pan the next day. You should get the same creamy texture.

Don’t be afraid to experiment with the toppings too. Any mixture of fruit, nuts and seeds would taste great, you could even try it with my healthy strawberry jam.

You can also keep any leftovers and serve the next day (you might just have to add a bit more milk as it can become a bit gummy once left out to cool), just pop it in the microwave to reheat!

Hope you like it! Let us know what your favourite toppings are!
