Matcha is coming at ya with this week’s NutriPic recipe!! This matcha apple smoothie bowl is sweet, creamy and delicious. If you’re new to healthy eating and want to get into green smoothies, this is a great place to place to start as it still has a really sweet taste.  The frozen bananas make it wonderfully thick and milkshake like and the cucumber adds the green goodness.

Ingredients:

2 frozen bananas
2 green apples
1 cucumber
1 tbsp. grated ginger
1 tsp. matcha green tea

Toppings of your choice (we went for goji berries, coconut flakes, chia seeds and sea buckthorn powder).

Method:

  1. Chop and freeze the bananas over night.
  2. Slice the apples and cucumber, then add to a blender with the frozen bananas, grated ginger and matcha green tea. Blend until creamy and smooth.
  3. Pour into a bowl and add your desired toppings.
  4. Prepare for satisfaction to the core, then eat.
