If you’ve never thought of making your own hummus before, you should definitely give it a go. This recipe is super easy and unbelievably delicious. It’s the best hummus I’ve ever tasted. I made this to accompany my falafel balls and served them to a group of friends – they went down a treat! You could also serve it with chopped vegetables such as carrots or celery and eat as a tasty snack.

An easy and delicious hummus recipe from MyNutriCounter

Ingredients:

1 X 400g can chickpeas
5 tbsp. coconut oil
1 tbsp. date syrup
Juice from 1/2 lemon
2 tsp. apple cider vinegar
2 tsp. tahini
1 garlic clove
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. coriander
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. paprika
3 tbsp. water

Method:

  1. Add all the ingredients to a food processor and pulse until smooth!
