Caramel Date Sauce
This date sauce is dreamy, delicious and full of nutrition. It’s so simple to make and versatile too – there’s so many recipes you can add it to like my sticky toffee cake or cacao pie.
We sometimes add a dash of it to Greek yoghurt or spread it over chopped apples as a tasty, guilt-free snack.

Ingredients:
250g/9oz pitted dates
100ml/3.5fl oz boiled water
3 tbsp. coconut oil
60ml/2fl oz coconut water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
Method:
- Add the dates and just boiled water to a saucepan and heat for 5 mins on a medium heat.
- Remove from heat and add to a food processor along with the rest of the ingredients. Process until you reach a smooth, thick sauce consistency.
