Cacao and Walnut Mug Cake
This delicious cacao and walnut cake is the simplest cake you could make – you literally just mix up all the ingredients and microwave for 2 minutes. Its easy, tasty, and super nutritious – there’s no reason not to try it.
We’ve topped ours with cashew nut butter and chopped walnuts, but you could also use almond butter or try it with one of my delicious jams or sauces:

Ingredients:
1 tbsp. coconut flour
1 tsp. cacao
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1 tbsp. honey or maple syrup
1/2 tsp. of vanilla essence
3 tbsp. almond milk
14g/0.5oz chopped walnuts
1 tsp. cashew nut butter
Method:
- Place all the ingredients (except the cashew butter and 1 tsp of the walnuts) in a mixing bowl & combine well.
- Pour into a microwave proof mug.
- Microwave on full power for 2 minutes.
- Top with cashew nut butter, more walnuts and enjoy!
