As you can see there are many health benefits from consuming ginger, but you might be wondering how you can incorporate it into your diet, so here are a few suggestions:-

  1. Make some ginger tea – Take a quarter inch piece of fresh grated ginger and add it to a cup of boiling hot water for about 10 minutes if you want a mild flavor, (or up to 20 minutes if you’d like it more spicy). Grab another cup and strain out the ginger. If you want to add some more flavour you could also add some honey or lemon juice.
  2. Sprinkle some grated ginger into a smoothie or juice.
  3. Add some grated ginger into a stir fry.
  4. Make a glaze which includes ginger.

It’ll be a case of trial and error finding out what you like to combine it with and in what quantities, but if you like ginger this should be a healthy and tasty experiment for you.
