Easter Food Art
We love creating fun food art for kids and hope to inspire them to eat healthy and learn about the nutritional benefits of what they eat. This week – because it’s Easter, we’ve created this cute ‘chicken in an egg’ out of a melon, satsuma, blueberries and carrot. We think it’s adorable and hope you do too.
You can see some of our other food arts here.

What you’ll need:
1 melon
1 satsuma
2 blueberries
1 carrot
Cocktail sticks
Nutritional Benefits to tell the kids:
Blueberries – contain loads of fibre which helps to keep your tummy healthy!
Carrots -are high in vitamin A which helps you to see better, you might even be able to see in the dark!
Blueberries and Satsumas – high in vitamin C which makes your body’s defensive shield (immune system) stronger and stops you from getting ill! Vitamin C also makes you happy too!
Melon – is high in Vitamin A, which is important for healthy teeth, skin and bones.
