Food Art – Beach
If you want to encourage your children to eat nutritious foods then creating fun and simple food art just like this beach scene is a perfect introduction. It is such a fantastic way of getting kids excited about healthy foods.

What you’ll need:
1 carrot
1 strawberry
1/2 avocado
2 blueberries
1/2 yellow pepper
1 liquorice stick
Nutritional Benefits to tell the kids:
Blueberries and Avocados – contain loads of fibre which helps to keep your tummy healthy!
Carrots – are high in Vitamin A, which is important for healthy teeth, skin and bones.
Strawberries, Peppers and Blueberries – are high in vitamin C which makes your body’s defensive shield (immune system) stronger and stops you from getting ill! Vitamin C also makes you happy too!
Avocados – have lots of healthy fats which means your heart will be happy.
